Our evaluative method coupled with a facilitative approach to mediation ensures that parties have a fair opportunity to present their position and to have the claim analyzed by IDR Chamber for its history of reaching fair and equitable settlements for both parties.

Our turn around to issue a mediation report is a few weeks from the time the last mediation session between the parties is held. This quick turnaround reduces payments for additional living expenses (ALE), which is a substantial driver in augmenting claim payments. In other words, with a faster resolution of claims, the ALE expenses considerably decrease, especially considering ever increasing rental and temporary accommodations costs.

In maintaining parties’ autonomy in choosing mediation, both parties can elect to have their claims resolved on documentation only. The documents only option is available for claims of a small amount not exceeding $100,000.00.

The confidential nature of the mediation process ensures that what is reached in mediation is either acceptable to the parties or stays in mediation.
